Cameron's Narrative Poem

Janaya,Emma and Cameron walked down the jungle path
And sore a monkey having a bath,
The monkey had a name tag that said Fred,
And the monkey had a very comfortable bed.

Cameron got stung by a bee,
he fled up a skinny tree,
we heard a yelp,
so we ran for help.

We were finding it impossible
to get Cameron to the hospital
we starting phoning
because Cameron was moaning

It became night ,
and we saw a light
It was a large car
that we could see from far

The car drove us to the nurse
she had all the things she needed in her purse
she took the sting out with a knife
and managed to save his life

We managed to get Cameron home safe
having a big bruise on his face
well Cameron had to rest
because he was feeling depressed

Amelia's Narrative Poem: 7.1 earthquake

Amelia's family was sleeping soundly,
Not one was stirring at 4:35,
The rumble started as loud as a dump truck,
And the house seemed to come alive.

My dad came running in,
And pulled me out of bed,
We all ran under the doorway,
As my sister hit her head.

Dad went out to listen to the radio,
As the aftershocks kept on fiercely coming,
He listened oh so very closely,
To find out about the angry rumbling.

We've been waiting here an hour,
It has been very scary,
We've had no power at all,
Which makes us feel weary.

Because we have no power,
We're wondering whats going on in Town,
We are really scared and worried,
And wondering whats come down.

We went round to our grand parents,
Vivin and Klaus,
When we came inside,
It wasn't as trashed as our house.

So that's the fright of my life,
But I'm fine now you see,
It's not so terrible now,
So I'm as Happy as can be.

Jordan's Confusion poem

Confusion is the colour turquoise like the inside of a Paua shell.
Confusion tastes like sweet and sour lollies.
Confusion feels like squishy sloppy soap.
Confusion looks like two Lego sets that you can't choose between.
Confusion sounds like two voices talking at the same time.
Confusion smells like buffet with lots of different aromas.

JP's emotion poem

Love is the colour of a red velvet cup cakes.
It taste like light/dark chocolate.
It smells like freshly baked chocolate cake.
It looks like my mum when she gives me a kiss.
It sounds like a mum meeting her new born son.
It feels like a warm hug.
