Amelia's Narrative Poem: 7.1 earthquake

Amelia's family was sleeping soundly,

Not one was stirring at 4:35,

The rumble started as loud as a dump truck,

And the house seemed to come alive.

My dad came running in,

And pulled me out of bed,

We all ran under the doorway,

As my sister hit her head.

Dad went out to listen to the radio,

As the aftershocks kept on fiercely coming,

He listened oh so very closely,

To find out about the angry rumbling.

We've been waiting here an hour,

It has been very scary,

We've had no power at all,

Which makes us feel weary.

Because we have no power,

We're wondering whats going on in Town,

We are really scared and worried,

And wondering whats come down.

We went round to our grand parents,

Vivin and Klaus,

When we came inside,

It wasn't as trashed as our house.

So that's the fright of my life,

But I'm fine now you see,

It's not so terrible now,

So I'm as Happy as can be.

Amelias Skeleton Jokes!!!!

1. Why didn't the skeleton go to the party???

Because he had no [ BODY ] to go with!!!


2. Why did the dog cross the road???

Because the skeleton didn't have the [ GUTS ] to!!!

The Monkat!!!

I am going to tell you about a very rare animal that if you are very lucky you will see... the Monkat. The Monkat is a cross between a monkey and a cat which has the paws, body and face of a cat and the tail, arms and colour of a Monkey.

The Monkat likes to live in a nice big cosy bush in some backyards, where during the day it will collect up lots of feathers and anything fluffy and will bring it back to its nest. When it comes to nighttime it will climb to its nest in a chosen tree, spin around three times, curl up and wrap its tail around itself then go to sleep.

This animal the Monkat loves to eat. This is a list of the foods it can eat. It eats tropical fish from the Pacific Ocean, little yellow fuzzy banana mice and yummy soft banana brain biscuits. As a nice little treat it can have banana milkshakes and tropical banana mice. It can have other things too but they're allergic to yoghurt, peanuts, honey, peanut and jelly sandwiches!!! If they eat any of these foods they will be paralysed and die.

A Monkat moves silently by swinging on its long, strong, fluffy tail but if it gets tired it will walk quietly on its little paws. When it is nice and happy it makes a Bazaar Boo! Bazaar Boo! sound when its angry it makes a woo Wang woo Wang. If you hear it go MiG yow it is probably asking you something.

For a fact the Monkat is very small, if you own one be careful of where you put your feet in case you accidentally squash it flat.

A Messy Room

A messy room is a very dirty smelly and discusting room that lots of stuffis spread everywhere!!!

I wounder how this room got so messy?

Firstly, this messy room was caused by a little child trying to find something like a toy or trying to find out what the disgusting smell was and how it got there.

Secondly, the child was asked to put away his clothes but instead he put them on his bed and
decided that because his mum wasn't there he would jump on the bed. When he jumped all the clothes went on the floor.

Lastly, the dog and cat came in and started running around like mad things but suddenly the dog did it's busniess in the bed and the cat starts to lick it but instead throws up all over the carpet. Then the cat jumped into a bowl of milk and it went everywhere.

Next time the child should put the clothes away,not jump on the bed and keep all his pets out of thier room.
